December 12, 2017, Sino-U.S. Environmental Technology Summit was held in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. The meeting was jointly organized by the CCPIT, the Commercial Department of the U.S. Embassy in China, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Environmental Protection to discuss key environmental issues and promote exchanges and cooperation among environmental protection enterprises in China and the United States. The Governor of Hebei Province and U.S. Ambassador of China attended the meeting.
Mr. Shawn Dong, general manager of BRISEA Group Beijing Branch, attended the meeting along with 78 Chinese and American business representatives. During the meeting, Mr. Dong presented the introduction of the EnvGuide website which was sponsored by BRISEA to develop into an environmental information platform. Mr. Dong has expressed the plan that EnvGuide could operate as a unique e-commerce information platform that not only provides U.S. companies with shortcuts and convenience for entering the Chinese market, but also continues to enhance the cooperation between U.S. and China’s environmental industry. EnvGuide will enable approved U.S. environmental technologies and expertise to become more easily accessible to the Chinese end user and eventually fit in their technological demand.
