BRISEA Group, Inc. sponsored an environmental remediation and vapor intrusion roundtable with ITRC state regulators, CRAES and BMIEP

On Monday, June 4th, UCEEF, sponsored by BRISEA Group, Inc., participated in a roundtable which included four ITRC U.S. state regulators and members from the China Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) and the Beijing Municipal Research Institute of Environmental Protection (BMIEP). The state regulators gave presentations on environmental remediation issues and vapor intrusion methods based on their U.S. experience.

It was concluded that China will expand and strengthen its soil environmental protection and pollution control in terms of national policies, governance mechanisms, and rapid monitoring of background data. The ITRC state regulators stated that it will provide more support and assistance to Chinese experts in these directions. As a bridge connecting China and the United States with environmental technologies, the BRISEA Group will also contribute to this effort.

The China Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) is affiliated with China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE). As the largest national non-profit multidisciplinary research institution, CRAES carries out innovative and basic scientific research on environmental protection, in compliance with the national strategy of sustainable development.

The Beijing Municipal Research Institute of Environmental Protection (BMIEP) is the first scientific research institution engaged in environmental protection in the entire country.
